Michi Kakebayashi

Prior to joining Integral Corporation in August 2025, Michi Kakebayashi served at Japan’s Ministry of Finance since 2016. She was engaged in the amendment of corporate tax legislation and conducting tax audits at the Regional Taxation Bureau. Subsequently, she led overseas expansion initiatives for broadcasting companies and supervised telecommunications operators at the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications. After studying at the University of California, Berkeley, she worked on planning and drafting multiple bills such as the Act on the Promotion of Cash Flow-Based Lending at the Financial Services Agency, while concurrently serving as a Visiting Scholar at the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
She holds a Master of Public Policy (MPP) from the University of California, Berkeley and a B.A. in Liberal Arts from the University of Tokyo.
